J Michael Lardizabal (b.1963, USA) has worked extensively with large-format cameras up to 12"x20" capturing timeless landscapes, rural architecture and still lifes. Lardizabal's passion is the contact print and he is a master of platinum and cyanotype printing as well as on silver chloride AZO paper. The Los Angeles County Museum of Art (LACMA) has 25 vintage photographs by Lardizabal from The Marjorie and Leonard Vernon Collection, through gifts of The Annenberg Foundation and from Carol Vernon / Robert Turbin acquisitions. Michael's work can also be found in the Metropolitan Museum of Art in New York, the Norton Simon Museum in Pasadena, the Chicago Art Institute, the Library of Congress Washington DC, the Museum of Fine Arts Boston and many others.
